Music For Dancing is pleased to point out some of the features of the recently purchased RCF Art Series 310a powered loudspeaker, an updated version of the hugely popular Art 300a. The RCF ART 310a is the 10” box that will out perform most powered 12” systems, yet is almost the weight of a powered 8” speaker. Ideal for a variety of professional applications such as live sound, play back and monitoring for corporate events and presentations, it also makes for a killer fold back wedge.

Digitally processed high-tech discrete amplifier power and high-quality neodymium transducers form the secret behind its very compact size and exceptionally light weight. The system is quite unique in its class for output, vocal intelligibility and low frequency performance, and it’s really a collection of new developments that sum to a really effective package. The new 10” neodymium woofer is the result of many years of RCF experience in high-powered speaker design. Featuring a 2.5” diameter long excursion voice coil, very high efficiency and controlled bass is delivered from the ultra efficient neodymium driver. The compression driver uses a new 1.5” Mylar dome design and optimized geometry radial phase plug. This innovative design is powered from a high flux neodymium magnet offering a very open and natural midrange sound with extreme precision in high frequency reproduction.

A generous high-efficiency 2-step class H design is used to power the low frequencies and the compression driver amplifier is a warm and clear class AB design. In effect, it performs and sounds like the old ART 300a but it’s smaller and lighter. It all adds up to the ultimate in versatile very compact powered systems.

How about 350w each = 700w continuous output!

I used these powerhouses three times over the holiday season, and they are amazing.
These are now my standard system based in New York City.
